I love this! As a person with anxiety and OCD, I’ve always struggled with rest. I can’t seem to calm myself down and relax- I feel like I should always be doing something “more productive.” But there’s such goodness in rest! ☺️

Thanks for sharing, Emma! That’s such a familiar experience for me, too. The more our brains and bodies make it difficult to rest, the more I think we need to be tolerant of imperfect rest. I may not get my mind to calm down fully, or maybe I don’t sleep, but consciously cultivating imperfect rest is still beneficial. Good luck!
