Yes! The next one will be on January 8th, from 7-8 PM Eastern on the theme of change. :) I don’t have the sign up page live yet, but will have it up by January 1 at the latest. I’ll make sure to send it your way. It would be wonderful to have you join us, Lila!
Reading your words about grouchiness was like looking in a mirror! I've definitely been feeling that extra edge lately. Your suggestion to move the body really resonates. Sometimes, I find that a good run helps me release that pent-up frustration. It's like I'm literally running away from the grouchiness! Other times, it's a slow, mindful walk in nature that does the trick. It's fascinating how our bodies hold onto these emotions, and movement can be such a powerful release.
Our bodies have a lot to communicate when we tune in (and I’m not naturally good at doing that). Hope you continue to find ways to work with your grouchiness!
Thank you, Lori, for putting in writing so much of how I’ve been feeling. I feel better about being grouchy now! Grateful for you and Soundings Circle. See you on the next one!
Eileen, while grouchy isn’t what we desire, I think there’s power in being honest about how we’re feeling. At the very least, it spares us the struggle of trying to change our emotions. We know that they’ll change eventually, even the painful ones like grouchiness.
So thankful for you and glad you’ll be at the Soundings Circle! 😊
Lori, I especially resonated with being overwhelmed and overstimulated. This has also been a week of too much for me. I try to be very careful when I schedule not to have more than one medical or practical appointment (like car repairs) in a week, but it doesn't always work out. At least I can take today, Friday, to slow down and putter. I'll get a few things done but in a relaxed way. Enjoy your weekend. I think your 5G approach worked spectacularly.
Sandra, I hope you’ve already gotten some space to breathe and putter. I love puttering! It’s settles my nervous system down so well. I’m starting today slowly and have lots of puttering to do around the house, so that feels like a good way to spend a Sunday (if I can’t spend it on a beach or in the woods). 💚
Thanks, Moorea! 😉 Nothing on tech this time, although there’s probably an article or two to be written on how big-hearted people interact with tech. I’ll leave that to someone else for now!
Hi Lori! Darn, I missed the circle event. Will you be doing another one?

I relate to so much of this. I, too, am a dabbler, a wanderer, and a depth seeker. Grateful to know (finally) that I am not alone, that we are many.
I've seen that so much in your writing, art, and storytelling, Holly! You are most definitely not alone. I'm honored to be in community with you!💚
The "5G" is a super cute title. It had me fooled into thinking it was about wireless tech. 😆

Thank you for your insights and practices!
Thanks for being part of this community! 💚
